Evora

Our guide Carlos had extensive knowledge of history, culture, society, agriculture and economics, etc. What ever we asked he was able to answer and also provided background information. Of course he introduced all the usual highlights and then we continued according our interests. He is also very discreetly asked out about our interest and possible limitations to adjust the tour and topics. The drive to Evora went fast on the highway while enjoying the scenery and discuss interesting topics. In Evora we saw the city wall, Roman temple, vantage point, Evora cathedral and adjacent monastery, Church of Francisco, the bone chapel. We also had delicious lunch, wandered Evora's small streets, did little shopping and then visiting vineyards and cellars before the wine tasting. The day went by quickly. Hieno päivä.
